As we reflect on a remarkable season of growth, connection, and collective momentum, the Minnesota Community Health Worker Alliance (MNCHWA) is thrilled to look back at two major events that have shaped our work this fall: our Annual Statewide Sustainability Roadmap Update Meeting and the 2026 Minnesota Rural CHW Conference in Worthington.
Both gatherings emphasized the resilience, leadership, and unwavering dedication of Community Health Workers (CHWs), supervisors, employers, and allies across Minnesota. Celebrating Community Resilience in Worthington
In early October, our community traveled to meet on campus at the Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Worthington, Minnesota, for the 2026 Minnesota Rural CHW Conference. Guided by the theme “Hands On, Hearts In,” the event celebrated the vital role rural CHWs play in bridging healthcare gaps, reaching isolated populations, and driving health equity across greater Minnesota.
