About the CHW Certificate Scholarship Program
The Minnesota Community Health Worker Alliance, in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health, offered scholarships funded by The Health Services and Resources Administration to strengthen and diversify the public health workforce to better meet the needs of under resourced communities in Minnesota by training new Community Health Workers during the CHWTP grant period (9/15/22-9/14/25).
There will not be an open application period for CHW Certificate scholarships funded by HRSA in Fall 2025. The limited scholarships still available will be distributed to new apprentices at Registered Apprenticeship sites.
