The Minnesota Community Health Worker Alliance (MNCHWA) is making it easier for Community Health Workers (CHWs) to stay connected, access opportunities, and participate in CHW-focused events. The key to getting the most out of these resources is creating and maintaining your CHW Registry account.
The CHW Registry allows CHWs to create a profile that highlights their experience, training, skills, and involvement in the CHW field. Keeping your information current helps ensure you receive relevant updates and opportunities from MNCHWA and supports a stronger, more connected CHW workforce across Minnesota.
New Event Registration Process for CHWs
Starting in September 2026, MNCHWA will begin using our website as the primary place for event registration. This means CHWs will need to be logged in to their CHW Registry account to register for CHW-specific events, including:
- CHW Circle
- Lunch and Learns for CHWs
- Networking opportunities
- Training events
- Other CHW-focused activities and events hosted by MNCHWA
If you are not already registered with the CHW Registry, we encourage you to create your account now. If you already have an account, take a few minutes to review your profile and make sure your information is accurate and up to date.

If you don’t already have a CHW Registry account, creating one is the first step. Your account gives you access to your personal CHW profile and will soon be required for registering for CHW-specific events through the MNCHWA website.

Once your account is created, it is important to regularly review and update your profile. Your CHW Registry profile should reflect your most current contact information, education and training, employment information, skills, and other professional details.
