Position Title: Communications and Registry Manager

Type: Full-Time

Reports to: Executive Director

Direct Report(s): Registry Coordinator

Overview: The Minnesota Community Health Worker Alliance is a statewide health equity organization. The mission of the Alliance is optimal health outcomes for all and we achieve this mission by promoting Community Health Worker (CHW) strategies. We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Communications and Registry Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our mission forward by managing and enhancing our communication channels, registry, and technology initiatives. As part of our strategic growth and transition, the ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing our earned income strategy, engaging with our community through various platforms, and ensuring the effective management of our CHW registry.

Responsibilities

Communications & Marketing:

Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans, including newsletters, social media, and website management, to increase visibility and engagement.

Create, design, and schedule regular content for social media platforms and website blogs, ensuring consistency with our brand voice and mission.

Update and manage all informational content on the organization’s website, creating new pages and resources as needed.

Assist in fundraising and engagement outreach efforts as needed.

Registry Management & Development:

Oversee the ongoing development of the CHW registry, including design, content, and operational processes.

Manage and update registry pages, discussion boards, and user profiles, ensuring current and accurate information.

Correspond with registry users, stakeholders, and potential registrants to ensure a positive experience.

Market, promote, and recruit for the registry through various channels, including one-on-one calls, visits to CHW certificate programs, and conference presentations.

Develop and implement new ideas, products, and promotional efforts for the registry.

Sales & Data Management:

Lead sales initiatives related to the registry and other organizational products, contributing to the earned income strategy.

Manage data queries by pulling, cleaning, filtering data, and fulfilling information requests.

Create and update annual reports on the registry and the CHW field.

Contract & Technology Management:

Manage marketing and technology contracts, ensuring deliverables meet organizational goals and standards.

Assist in the management of online presence through innovative technology solutions.

Collaboration & Reporting:

Coordinate and lead regular meetings with the Registry Committee and other relevant teams.

Report to the Executive Director and board as necessary, providing updates on projects and initiatives.

Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to support the organization’s programming and growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, technology, or a related field.

Preferred background in registry management, data handling, and report generation.

Proven experience in communications, social media management, and website development or content management.

Experience in sales and marketing, with a knack for developing innovative promotional strategies.

Familiarity with managing contracts and/or working with technology vendors.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
