Join the Minnesota Community Health Worker Alliance at the Minnesota State Capitol as we celebrate Governor Tim Walz’s proclamation of Minnesota Community Health Worker Day.
Together, we will honor the vital role Community Health Workers play in advancing health equity, strengthening communities, and improving the lives of Minnesotans across the state.
Community Health Workers, partners, employers, stakeholders, and allies are invited to attend and share their lived stories.
We look forward to celebrating this historic milestone with you.

Seating
MN Historical Society will provide rented seating. The RSVP deadline is July 22, 2026. To assist us with planning adequate seating accommodations, if you have not yet completed your RSVP – Minnesota Community Health Worker Day Celebration please take a minute to let us know you’re coming (RSVP form below)! Complete one RSVP form per attendee. If you plan to bring a guest, be sure to complete a separate RSVP form for each guest.
The Capitol prohibits food and beverages in the Rotunda. Refreshments and food will not be provided.
Impact Stories
If your RSVP response includes sharing an impact story, here are IMPACT STORY – Speaking prompts.pdf if it would be helpful:
During the event there will be separate sessions in the agenda for people to share their impact story. Although we could go on and on about our community impact in communities, on this day we will share 3–5-minute stories to accommodate time for everyone who has a story to share.
Parking at the Capitol
- Public parking is limited during legislative session. Refer to the Capitol Visitor Map.pdf for information about state-owned public metered spaces and city metered spaces.
- Event parking is not permitted in contract parking facilities Monday through Friday 6 am to 5 pm on Capitol Complex.
- No unauthorized parking on any state property.
- Street parking, both signed and metered, is controlled by the City of Saint Paul (except for the state meters on Dr. Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., between Cedar and Robert Streets).
