Every Minnesotan deserves access to care, connection, and a chance to thrive. Community Health Workers are frontline workers that meet people where they are —helping a parent put food on the table, arranging a ride to a life-saving medical visit, explaining confusing insurance letters, and offering guidance and hope during difficult health moments.
Through an empowered, visible workforce of frontline Community Health Workers rooted in their communities, MNCHWA envisions a future where health equity is real and no one is left behind.

- When Medicare and Medicaid benefits shrink, it doesn’t just mean fewer benefits — it means families skipping meals, missing rides to the clinic, falling through miles of paperwork, and losing the safety net they thought was there.
In no uncertain terms, millions of Americans will lose their health care coverage…hospitals will close, seniors will not be able to access the care they need, and premiums will rise for millions of people if this bill passes.

- $50 – Funds technology resources that empower CHWs to connect and collaborate across the state through access to the registry, resources, and peer learning connections.
